Naomi Shin M.S.

Naomi Shin joined Wynne Health Group in May 2021, bringing her extensive experience in Medicaid policy to the team. During graduate school, she worked as a research assistant at the Medicaid and CHIP Payment and Access Commission (MACPAC), where she completed projects on quality, racial and ethnic disparities, Medicaid budget and enrollment changes during the pandemic, and the Affordable Care Act’s effect on Medicaid. She also served as a Rashi Fein Intern at MACPAC through the National Academy of Social Insurance. Prior to her work at MACPAC, Naomi interned with her university health services department to help manage and expand a bystander intervention training program for interpersonal violence.

Naomi graduated with a Master of Science in Health Care Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University. During her graduate work, she completed a rigorous capstone project with Sensez9 and Southwestern Pennsylvania 2-1-1 to design a closed loop essential service delivery process. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Carnegie Mellon University. Naomi resides in Washington, D.C.
