Wynne Health Group Contributes Over $50,000 to Charitable Organizations in 2021

WASHINGTON, D.C., Jan. 11, 2022 — The Wynne Health Group maintains a commitment to social responsibility by annually contributing a portion of its net profits towards charitable organizations, hand-selected by team members. In this commitment, the Wynne Health Group contributes at least 5 percent of its net profit to not-for-profit organizations that improve health, either through services and support directly related to healthcare, or by addressing social determinants of health.

Social responsibility is a vital component of the Wynne Health Group’s mission to improve health for all, and the Wynne Health team members value the annual giving at a personal level, as well. Policy Director Josh LaRosa says, “I’m so grateful to be part of a firm that builds charitable giving into its organizational framework. It makes it so the work I do has a tangible impact on causes I have a personal connection to and allows me to give back in a meaningful way.”

During the 2021 holiday season, the Wynne Health Group contributed a total of over $50,000 to the following eleven charitable organizations performing tremendous work to improve medical, oral, and behavioral health; to address housing insecurity and other social needs; and to eliminate racism and homophobia:

  • American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
  • Amigos de las Americas
  • Clínica Romero
  • Community of Hope
  • Crisis Text Line
  • Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation
  • First Nations Development Institute’s COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund
  • Greater DC Diaper Bank
  • National Black Justice Coalition
  • Operation Smile
  • SADS Foundation

The Wynne Health Group is proud to support the missions of each of these organizations. Since its founding in 2018, Wynne Health has contributed approximately $175,000 to charitable organizations. We look forward to continuing to support organizations uplifting communities while striving toward our mission of improving health for all.
